The X 18+ is wrapped in red for the first on-pitch aesthetic of 2019 as adidas roll out the “Exhibit Pack” to their leading players to wear throughout February. New work shoes for the return of the Champions League, it's a tried and tested colourway that always delivers.
Released as part of the “Exhibit Pack” alongside the Predator, Nemeziz and COPA, the latest look for the X sees it land in an "Active Red" colourway that also features flashes of silver, most notably in the forefoot of the shiny mirrored soleplate that cuts back to the blue heel cup. Mo Salah, Gareth Bale, Gabriel Jesus and all the other adidas speedsters of the game have made the switch into this new colourway and will remain in it until the business end of the season commences.
As per usual the X 18+ is joined by a laced 18.1 edition as adidas offer up their full collection of silos in laceless and laced choices. No tech changes here though, just a fresh slap of paint for the new year as adidas drop their first quartet of 2019 in a vibrant clash of statement colours. Red and ready.
