PUMA Re-introduce The Para Mexico Boot

The PUMA Para Mexico is back in its purest form, rereleased in a recreation that virtually matches the 1985 original. You know what they say about the classics: they don’t make ‘em like that anymore. All though, evidently, it appears they actually do…

The PUMA Para Mexico was originally released in 1985 ahead of the Mexico ’86 World Cup as a Japanese take on the famous King. Japanese tanning is different to Europe and the quality of leather they use is very select, meaning the most premium of products, created using only the finest of craftsmanship. ‘Made in Japan’ is a mark of quality that instantly stands a boot out as having that extra level of class, and its a tag that PUMA happily tie to the Para Mexico.

Following several different renditions of the Para Mexico over the years including the Lite version, PUMA have decided to re-release a Para Mexico that’s as close to the original as you’re going to get. That means the same iconic big white tongue, the same beautifully quilted toe box and K-leather upper, and the same bright white formstripe leading down to the moulded soleplate, all creating a stunning silhouette that looks as good today as it did 34 years ago. Stand and admire, and try not to part with £150.
