Taking the new look Nemeziz and putting a Leo-esque spin on it, adidas launch the Nemeziz Messi 19.1 as part of the ‘302 Redirect’ pack, and its new look subtly nods to the colours of Barcelona’s kit colours this season.
So what we’re looking at here is the Nemeziz 19, just with a Messi-shaped seal of approval marked out on the inner heel, pretty straightforward really. The look is certainly more subtle than some signature boots we’ve seen recently, but that just suits Messi down to the ground. With a white core joined by red in the branding details, blue in the new split soleplate, and yellow in the stud tips it's a tidy execution with a nice little extra to those with a close attention to detail. Yep, the colours are the primary colours of each of Barcelona’s three kits this season.
Whereas we’ve seen the COPA, Predator, X and Nemeziz from the ‘302 Redirect’ pack in action already, we’ve yet to see Messi lace up in the Nemeziz Messi 19.1, with the Argentinian ace opting for either the '302 Redirect' Nemeziz 19.1 or, more recently and more frequently, the Nemeziz 18.1 from the ‘Virtuso’ pack. Could be that he’s holding the Nemeziz 19.1 Messi back for a starring role in this summer’s Copa America.
