This here is the adidas 'Hardwired Pack' and it's the first on-pitch collection by the Three Stripes for the upcoming 2019/20 season. The laceless quartet are each given vibrant coats of colour to kick-off the new campaign in statement style as adidas go bold from the very first whistle.
When adidas dish out block colours to their full line-up of on-pitch boots it always packs a strong aesthetic, and that's exactly what they've done with the "Hardwired Pack". The Predator, Nemeziz, X and COPA all suit up in simplicity to create a collection that is styled with strength and ready slip onto the brand's full squad of professional players as they move from pre-season to the competitive stuff.
The new-generation adidas Nemeziz 19+ kicks off its first full season since its arrival in May in a daring outfit of "Shock Pink/Black" to land as the most distinctive selection from the new pack. The intriguing silhouette still holds a unique design when it's off-foot but it holds nicely around the foot when on. They'll be no missing this vibrant colourway with complementing metallic soleplate when the likes of Roberto Firmino, Jesse Lingard and Isco slide them on from this weekend and onwards into August.
The Predator 19+ introduces a bit more black to its upper than that of the Nemeziz with a sharp "Bright Cyan/Black/Solar Yellow" combination. The highlighter-esque vibe is a punchy design that has already been spotted on the feet of leading adidas Predator players including Mesut Özil on Arsenal's USA tour. A solid start to the 2019/20 season for what is still considered adidas' headline silo.
The COPA 19+ boats the cleanest look from the "Hardwired Pack" as adidas slap a "Solar Yellow/Black" colourway across its quilted upper, reserving the black colouring for the Three Stripes on the instep of the books and heels. The X 19+ follows closely to the Predator 19+ by wrapping itself in a "Light Blue/White/Black" colour scheme with another metallic soleplate. And that's that. As always each respective silo has also be launched in a laced 19.1 version for those still unsure about this whole slip-on business. Roll on the new season.
