adidas Launch The 'Encryption Pack' Copa Gloro 20

Dropping in as a better-late-than-never addition to the ‘Encryption Pack’, adidas launch the Copa Gloro 20 with a “Grey/Silver/Solar Yellow” colourway. Although not one of the Three Stripes’ big four, the Copa Gloro offers premium quality wrapped up in a sleek aesthetic, and all for under a tonne.

The Copa Gloro is often mistakenly labelled as a take-down, where in reality it actually exists as its own silo, and one that offers something that no other adidas boots can. Yep, the Copa Gloro, as the name indicates, fuses the key elements of two adidas favourites. So you get the sleek, modern aesthetic of the Copa line, but with the ultimate throwback signature that is the fold-over tongue, deemed unnecessary in the majority of modern boot designs, but still providing that authentic feel that simply can’t be recreated.

The Copa Gloro 20 is actually a next generation update, but the changes are barely visible. What you still get is a premium calf leather vamp for a cushioned touch and feel on the ball, and that’s combined with the structured knit textile rear foot, which offers stability and comfort, so you know you’re getting a boot that performs as well as it looks. Add to that the fact that you get a reasonable amount of change from £100 and we really shouldn’t need to say any more.
