Standing alone from the rest of the roster, Nike launch the Tiempo Legend VIII with a seasonal “Black/White/Volt” update that includes Anti-Clog technology, ensuring it’s ready for whatever winter has in store.
We recently saw the Premier II getting its standard, annual Anti-Clog update, and now it’s the turn of its premium big brother, the Tiempo Legend VIII, which arrives complete with a fresh combination of black, white and volt. All the same tech is included in the upper, so you’ll still find a sumptuous K-leather upper for that perfect touch on the ball, alongside the Flyknit and QuadFit mesh for zero break in and the comfort that the Tiempo is renowned for.
The new winterised colourway for the Tiempo sees the rear panel and heel in white while the forefoot is wrapped in black for a clean contrast not too dissimilar to the EURO 2012 Clash Pack Tiempo. The black and white is then broken up by volt detailing that borders the Swoosh as well as flashing through the heel callout. It’s yet another tidy look that’s reserved for the Tiempo alone, as Nike follow up the Dream Speed Mercurial and the 'Phantom Fire' pack, breaking up their usual four-silo pack drops.
The “Black/White/Volt” SG Anti-Clog Tiempo is also joined by an FG version, which will please anyone playing on turf or eyeing it up as a spring option. The only change aesthetically speaking comes courtesy of the lack of Anti-Clog on the underside, making way instead for a clean white soleplate.
