Freshening up their latest small-sided specialist for spring, Nike launch the React Gato in a striking "Black/White/Orange/Smoke Grey” colourway, tying it into the rest of of the pack that was launched last month.
The React Gato arrived on the small-sided scene last month, joining the Lunar Gato as Nike’s only dedicated off-pitch silos. Introducing Nike React foam into the game for the first time, the “White/Bright Crimson/Cool Grey” launch colourway saw it stand alone, highlighting a new option for the court game. But now Nike have launched it in only its second look, a "Black/White/Orange/Smoke Grey” that puts it in some good company.
At the same time that Nike debuted the React Gato, they also launched the Lunar Gato II, the Tiempo Legend VIII React Pro and the Premier II Sala in a black, orange and white paint job, and now they include the React Gato in that presentation, completing the pack.
The React Gato sees an orange heel and black forefoot for a look that’s not too dissimilar to the Tiempo from the pack. The major difference in terms of presentation comes in the form of the hollow dropped Swoosh – lifted straight from the Mercurial line – that sits on the sleek Nike Touch360 and Flyknit upper, while a wild outsole design that’s been taken from the Lunar Gato II’s forefoot is instead spread across its entirety – sure to get some positive attention. Strong second suit for Nike’s second small-sided specialist.
