Just in time for Manchester United’s 20/21 kick off, adidas launch the Season 7 Paul Pogba Predator Mutator 20+, with a design that takes a hefty dose of inspiration from luxury brand Louis Vuitton.
Hard to believe that we’re into the seventh season of Paul Pogba’s limited football street collection made in collaboration with adidas, and yet here we are, with the Three Stripes providing Pogba with a design that speaks of his position as one of football's foremost creative talents. For that purpose the ‘PP’ logo gets an upgrade from last season, with it now presented in luxury gold in a repeating pattern across the upper, a look inspired by the signature design of Louis Vuitton.
We already had a glimpse at the new Predator Mutator 20+ Pogba when the man himself trained in them with Manchester United this week, but now we get a far better look at his latest signature edition. As mentioned, the standout feature is the 'PP' logo in gold, emblazoned across the entire upper, which has a black base, ensuring the logo is all the more noticeable. Not that you were likely to miss it, but, y'know, just in case.
We're big fans of gold on black, and it looks the part again here, especially when combined with the unique aggressive aesthetic of the spikes on the forefoot. The only other flash comes courtesy of the white Three Stripes on the lateral side, tying in to a hint of white that pops through the collar when the boot is on foot.
All round it's another unique look for the Frenchman, one that sits well with his exuberant nature while the design still sits on the right side of extravagant, unlike some signature editions that have been released in more recent times. Expect Pogba to be wearing these later today (19 September) when United get their Premier League campaign underway against Crystal Palace.
