adidas Launch The Limited Edition Predator 'Humanrace'

When adidas let slip that they're releasing a Predator in collaboration with Pharrell Williams, you pay attention. When you find out it's inspired by the 1998 Accelerator, you buy it. When you find out it's limited edition you stop reading this, scroll to the bottom, click the link and buy it before it sells out.

Launching as the headline footwear piece from the wider adidas x Humanrace collection, the Predator Mutator takes on an instantly recognisable aesthetic with those chunky Accelerator stripes hugging the boot from underneath. The hand drawn vibe is a trend that stretches across the full clothing collection and onto the limited edition retro jerseys of Manchester United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Juventus and Real Madrid.

The Humanrace 'HU' logo completes the design on a boot that blends the most modern innovation with the most famous roots of Predator DNA. As with the apparel collection, the boots are designed by Musician, Humanrace Creative Director and adidas Collaborator Pharrell Williams and will drop in limited numbers with an anticipated sell out of a matter of hours, help no doubt by Paul Pogba wearing them in recent fixtures against Newcastle and Paris Saint-Germain.

While adidas are constantly pushing the boundaries of design and innovation with the Predator series, they've often given special edition nods to the history of the prestigious series, and this latest blast of throwback goodness follows in the path of numerous modern designs inspired by the greats of the Accelerator, Precision and Mania. Is anyone still reading this? Nah, you all scrolled straight to that buy link didn't you? We'll leave it at that then.
