Coming out of nowhere, Paul Pogba has revealed a new design for the Predator Mutator, known as the Human Race, and it’s been designed in conjunction with Pharrell Williams.
Paul Pogba has just unveiled what has to be the best Predator we’ve seen since… well, in a long time. This here appears to be the adidas Predator Mutator Human Race, and looks as though it’s been designed by none other than Pharrell Williams. Least that’s what Pogba seems to indicate in a tease video that he’s posted on his Instagram channel, in which he reveals a first look at the Accelerator-inspired new paint job.
And we use the term paint job quite literally here, with the art theme that’s played such a prominent part in adidas’s marketing through 2020 continuing here, for a hand-painted rendition of the Predator Accelerator’s Three Stripes from 1998. Those Three Stripes wrap around the classic red and black base of the boot, combining for the most classically pleasing of Predator looks. On the outstep is a small "HU" logo, while on the rear part of the collar is the writing Humanrace. No info on a release date for these or if they will even get a retail release, but if they do, count us in – you had us at Accelerator...
Guess we can expect to see Pogba wearing these when Manchester United take on Newcastle on Saturday...
