Shifting up a gear, PUMA accelerate their speed game with the release of the Turbo Pack, featuring suped-editions of the Ultra 1.1 and Future 6.1 that take inspiration from the smoke and dust left behind on the race tracks.

OK, so straight off the bat we’ll say that we’ve never seen pink smoke and dust left behind on a race track. But we’ll also admit that we haven’t been to that many race tracks, so we’re willing to let the “Scorch Pink/Black” colourway slide, especially when it looks as striking as it does on the new PUMA Turbo Pack. As the days draw in and we plough into the darker months, both the Ultra 1.1 and Future 6.1 are decked out in these fresh, vibrant coats.

The Ultra is the more subtle execution of the two, with a pink battling for dominance with the black through the MATRYXEVO upper. The further pop of pink in the forefoot soleplate combines with the flashes in the upper, lending perfectly to the effect of speed as it fades to black at towards the rear foot. If he can be pried out of his flash new PUMA Ultra x Rimac, you can expect to see Antoine Griezmann in these.

Then the Future makes no apologies, arriving in brash all-over pink, with the black playing only a supporting role, appearing on the soleplate and minimally through the upper. It’s a stark contrast to the Ultra, but makes no apologies for it. Expect to see the likes of Luis Suarez making the switch into this colourway in the coming weeks.
