Rolling out some signature style for one of their biggest Women footballers, New Balance have released a limited-edition custom Tekela v3 design in an all-white colourway for US international star Rose Lavelle.
New Balance certainly know how to take care of their athletes, with signature editions being rolled with reasonable regularity for main man Sadio Mané and leading lady Rose Lavelle. And it’s the latter who’s in focus once again, with a clean all-white colourway, dubbed ‘Sweet Chaos’. The design comes complete with Lavelle’s signature details, and the Man City star will wear the boots in the match against Bristol City in England’s WSL.
The USWNT star is no stranger to a bit of signature edition style, having been given her first pair of Tekela v2 back in June 2019, and that was followed up by a signature Tekela v3 in July 2020.
The design of this latest special edition Tekela v3 sees a sweet chaos print on the soleplate along with her bespoke insignia on the heel. Derived from the symbol of a Rose, her emblem is a tribute to the USA and Cincinnati stripes, her autograph, and the famous headband worn during the 2018 World Cup triumph.
Just 116 pairs of the Rose Lavelle ‘Sweet Chaos’ boots are available – 116 pairs being a nod to the Bronze Ball winner’s jersey number for the USWNT.
