Marvel football boots anyone? Yep, that's what we've got here as adidas link up with Marvel for a boot collection that sees a superhuman touch on the Predator and X lines. This here is the adidas x Marvel X-Men Collection and it will be worn on pitch be a selection of leading adidas names.
Dropping in both adults and kids sizes across laces and laceless editions, the adidas Energy Marvel Pack celebrates two legendary Marvel icons in Wolverine and Cyclops. The Predator Freak+ is taken over by X-Men's Wolverine while the X Ghosted+ hosts Cyclops for a special edition collection that will no doubt turn heads across all age groups.
The Predator Freak+ takes on a split yellow and black colourway with 'Wolverine' replacing 'Predator on the tip of the collar in the same Predator font. The X-Men logo sits on the outstep of the boot while two Wolverine icons are placed on the heels of the boots along with some of Wolverine's trademark prints across the upper and stripes. Yeah, they will be popular with kids, but in that colourway, you won't be alone in rating them.
The X Ghosted+ edition combines blue, yellow and red palettes to play host to Cyclops. A shimmering soleplate provides the aesthetics under the hoop but up top the Cyclops logo sits on the outstep of the boots and on the heels, with Marvel X-Men branding on the instep. Expect to see these on the feet of Callum Hudson-Odoi amongst others on pitch.
