To celebrate Manchester City regaining their Premier League crown, PUMA enlisted the help of boot customisation specialist Silni to produce some personalised boots for all of their City stars, presenting them to the players ahead of the final game of the season, at home against Everton.
PUMA obviously have strong ties to Manchester City, being their technical partner n’all, but they also have sponsorship deals with several of the players in the squad. So with City once again winning the Premier League recently, and ahead of them lifting the trophy at the Etihad on their final game of the season against Everton, the German brand decided to do something nice for Aguero, Ederson, Zinchenko, Walker, Fernandinho.
For this, PUMA turned to boot customisation guru Silni, supplying him with the relevant Future Z and Ultra boots from the Spectra pack, and the artist then did his work. The finished boots feature bespoke City callouts in sky blue, including the phrase ‘This is our City’, presented in the sky blue colour of the team, complete with the shattered mosaic effect that has featured on the club’s home kit this season. Further details include the ‘Only See Great’ badge on the heel and the ‘Champions 20/21’ tag. Each boot also comes complete with details specific to each individual player.
