You know the drill by now: it’s winter, it’s dark, cold and wet, and sometimes finding the motivation to get out and play football can be tough. That’s why Nike have dropped the ‘Football Recharge’ pack on us, providing fresh colourways for the Mercurial Vapor and Superfly and Phantom GT II.
Nike have been quieter than usual on the boot front this season, dropping the Motivation Pack for the start of the season and only following that up with two individual colour ups for the Phantom GT II and more recently with the signature edition Mercurial Superfly ‘Mbappe Flames’. But now the Swoosh drops its second pack of the season, with the Football Recharge, motivating players for the winter months ahead with new colourways for the Mercurial Vapor 14 and Superfly 8 and the Phantom GT II.
So, picking up where the Motivation pack left off, the Football Recharge pack once again looks to give you the get up and go that you need, courtesy of new paint jobs. For the Mercurial, that’s a “Sapphire/Volt/Blue Void” combo that sees the blue base dominating the look, accented by those volt hits that flash through the soleplate and Swoosh.
It's a similar look for the Phantom GT II, although for a differential there's the introduction of "Grey Fog" to the “Sapphire/Volt/Blue Void” arrangement. That dominates the lower portion of the upper, leaving the rest in the same blue as the Mercurial, with the same volt flashes on the two Swooshes.
