Putting focus on one of the rising stars of the game, New Balance honour Harvey Elliott with his first-ever signature boot. The ‘Diamond Cuts Sharper’ Furon v6+ features a diamond-inspired design and comes in an ice blue colourway.
It was great to see Harvey Elliott make such a speedy recovery from what was a nasty injury earlier in the season. The teenager is fast establishing himself as one of the brightest young talents in what is already a very talented Liverpool squad, and his rapid return is further evidence of his hunger for the game. Having officially signed with New Balance in April last year, the brand has marked the next stage in his progression by giving him his first signature boot, known as ‘Diamond Cuts Sharper’.
The boot design celebrates Elliott’s extraordinary ability and has been crafted with striking colours and materials that represent the clarity, fire, and reflection of a precious stone. The inspiration is also derived from the talented teenagers nickname, which he earned following an impressive display in his debut senior training session with the Reds when he was just 16 years old.
The custom design of the Furon v6+ ‘Diamond Cuts Sharper’ features pops of electric red across the upper and iridescent soul plate. In addition, a bespoke gemstone graphic and Harvey’s squad number are included across the heel and tongue of the boots, alongside sparkling stars, in recognition of a diamond’s brilliance.
Ahead of wearing the boots, Harvey said “receiving custom boots is a special feeling and the extra detail makes the boots look really unique. I’m excited to wear the boots in the big games coming up”.
