Giving the second of their current roster a close season refresh, PUMA launch the Ultra 1.4 in a “Diamond Silver/Neon Citrus” colourway, completing the ‘Instinct Pack’.

A few weeks back PUMA released the Future 1.3 in a “Neon Citrus/Diamond Silver/Puma Black” colourway, kicking off what would be a two-part drop for the ‘Instinct Pack’. Now they complete the set with the launch of the Ultra 1.4, which remains the lightest full performance boot out there. It arrives coated in chromed silver with hits of orange, ensuring it ties in nicely with the previously released Future.

We’ve already had a preview of this new look for the Ultra 1.4, notably on the feet of Japanese international Kaoru Mitoma when he scored a late brace against Australia in the recent World Cup qualifiers.

The boot itself sees the upper and soleplate coated in silver, with the collar, lacing and branding popping in that “Neon Citrus” colour that was also seen flashing through the ‘Flare Pack’, which the ‘Instinct Pack’ will replace on pitch.

As for technology, this is an aesthetic update only, so the Ultra 1.4 is still lighter and faster than ever, thanks to the ultra-lightweight MATRYXEVO technology, which combines technical Carbon yarns and transparent Mono yarns to create a high-tech performance material whilst minimising weight. The upper is connected to an internal SPEEDCAGE for lightweight support to keep your foot locked.
