Diadora Drop The Brasil 'Milano'

Taking a look back at the classy look of the Champions League-winning AC Milan side of 2007, Diadora drop the Brasil Made in Italy in a “White/Milano Red” colourway – a look that is brought into more focus given the Rossoneri’s away look for 22/23.

As we saw with the release of the new AC Milan away kit for 22/23, white kits are synonymous with success for the Serie A champions. The kit drew inspiration from the seven Champions League titles that the club has won, and now Italian craft masters Diadora look to the last in that line, and specifically the kit that the side wore when they lifted the trophy in the 2006/07 season, releasing their most iconic boot, the Brasil, in a homage-filled “White/Milano Red” colourway.

Diadora and AC Milan have a strong link, firstly through their shared homeland, but also through the fact that some of the Rossoneri’s greatest players have achieved greatness whilst wearing Diadora boots. One such player was Pippo Inzaghi, and he was recently honoured by the Italian brand, who released a recreation of the black and gold boot that he wore when he bagged a brace to secure the Champions League in 2007. Now though the focus is on the wider team and that white and red look.

The Brasil carries that ‘Made in Italy’ hallmark; a testament to the pure quality of the materials used in its construction and of the overall craftsmanship of the boot. As ever, the upper is made from an ulra-ultra-soft K-leather upper, while that quilted vamp feels as premium as it should.
