Building on a legacy of speed, PUMA and Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team linked up for a limited-edition take on ULTRA 1.4. The result is 1000 pairs of fast and loud in classic Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team colors, with the latest PUMA performance tech, and the official co-branding.
PUMA have a history of collaborating with high performance motor companies, having produced limited edition boots alongside the likes of BMW, Ferrari, Ducati and, most recently, Rimac. Now they’re at it again, and this time the German sports brand is working alongside the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team to produce a special edition Ultra 1.4, which arrives in the classic “Diamond Silver/Spectra Green” team colourway. And as is always the case with these releases, it is once again a limited editionm, with only 1000 pairs being released worldwide.
The MAPF1 Ultra 1.4 is designed for ultimate lightweight speed. Taking a look under the hood, the upper is made with ultra-lightweight MATRYXEVO technology that combines technical Carbon yarns and transparent Mono yarns to create a high-tech performance material whilst minimising weight. The upper is connected to an internal SPEEDCAGE that provides lightweight support and keeps your foot locked in.
On the underside, the Ultra 1.4 features a unique PEBA SpeedUnit outsole, infused with PUMA running spike DNA for maximum take-off speed, traction and responsiveness at high velocity.
