Umbro Drop The 'White Pack' Velocita VI & Tocco II

Crisp and clean is the order of the day for Umbro, who have unveiled the ‘White Pack, which sees the Tocco II Pro and Velocita VI Pro presented in pristine white coats.

A summer of football just screams for white boots, and Umbro duly oblige with the ‘White Pack’, wrapping the Tocco II Pro and Velocita VI Pro in the cleanest of clean coats, ready for action. Probably won’t stay that way for long, but you can’t beat the fresh-out-of-the-box look of a white boot. So the only thing you need to decide is if you favour the touch and control of the Tocco, or the pace of the Velocita.

The Tocco is built for defenders and midfielders who want to win and keep possession. Effortless control is made possible by D3O technology on the upper, which reduces ball bounce and instantly improving first touch. IDRO Italian K-leather, which features in the forefoot, reduces water absorption by 75 percent so you can move the ball with purpose, even in poor conditions. And finally, the energy efficient PEBAX outsole combined with knitted collar and moulded heel give provides ongoing comfort and support. Aesthetic-wise, the execution of the K-leather forefoot overlapping the silvery hues of the Double Diamond just works so well in this light look. The rear two thirds then feature a smart graphic, made up of what looks like overlaid versions of the brand's iconic logo.

On to the Velocita Vi then, which is a boot that's all about speed. It sees the combination of the super lightweight PEBAX Sprint+ outsole with a unique stud geometry rapid acceleration. The thermo-bonded V-Frame supports the foot posture for multi-directional agility, allowing for quick changes of both direction and pace. Last but not least, vent knit adaptive fit technology keeps the foot in its natural position even at top speed. That lightweight construction just looking all the more airy in the white suit.
