adidas Release The Copa Gloro In Predator-Esque "Core Black/Silver Metalic/Red"

Arriving in one of the most iconic and recognisable colourways in the game, adidas have revealed the Copa Gloro in “Core Black/Silver Metalic/Red”, instantly conjuring images of the Predator line.

Following its triumphant return back in January, adidas has now released the classic Copa Gloro in a very familiar “Core Black/Silver Metalic/Red” colourway. With the Predator Accelerator really being the boot that established that iconic trinity of colours following on from the Predator Touch, and with the Accelerator celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, its a fitting homage for the Copa Gloro to take on. And that signature fold over tongue just lends itself perfectly to the colour combination.

The Copa Gloro first appeared on the scene in 2015, and it quickly established itself as a grassroots favourite and a champion of the people, thanks mainly to its pure yet premium leather feel and its low price point. For its recent return to the market, it makes a subtle switch up in terms of construction, with the use of premium cow leather being used in place of K-leather, although it’s used on the whole upper as opposed to just the forefoot, which was how the last iteration of the Gloro signed off.

The Predator Accelerator is arguably the best boot that adidas has ever produced, but while it's only available in limited special edition drops these days, the Copa Gloro steps up as the perfect alternative for those that remember the good old days!
