Lotto Celebrate 50th Anniversary With Limited Edition Gold Stadio

This year, iconic Italian brand Lotto turns 50, and to celebrate the anniversary they have produced a special gold edition of the classic Stadio boot, which is limited to just 500 pairs worldwide.

Few brands in the world of football can boast the level of history and heritage of Lotto. For five decades the Italian brand has been involved in some of the most defining moments in the game through both its boots and kits, rising to real prominence in the 90s. Now, they are celebrating their 50th anniversary, and for the occasion they have produced a special version of one of their most iconic boots: the Stadio.

Lotto were one of the dominant forces in European football throughout the 80s, 90s and early 00s and the Stadio was their showpiece boot. Worn by legendary players such as Andriy Shevchenko, Paul Gascoigne, Laurent Blanc, Gheorghe Hagi, Cafu, and Clarence Seedorf the Stadio was present on every pitch in every big occasion.

As part of the brand’s 50th anniversary celebrations, they are releasing just 50 pairs of the gold Stadio to each of the top retail accounts around the world, with each set featuring special branding and numbering on the lateral side of the heel. Gold dominates the whole look, including the shimmering soleplate, while contrasting black accents help tell the story of the boot. This is achieved first through the branding, but further by the “1973-2023” lock ups that appears on both the underside of that gorgeous tongue and on the upper heel.

The look arrives as the perfect follow up to the black and white out editions, released back in 2019 and 2020, upping the levels of premium to all new heights. Yup, got to have some minerals to wear these out on pitch.
