Keeping their options open, like any good player, Umbro have moved to reveal a fresh look for the recently released Velocita Elixir, wrapping it in a “White/Fiery Coral/Bolt” presentation.

Earlier this month Umbro pulled back the curtains on the latest generational upgrade for their Velocita speed silo, with the new Elixir taking the baton from the Alchemist. Along with plenty of new technological upgrades, the new Velocita Elixir also boasted a sleek yet understated "Black/Alexandrite/White/Andean Toucan” colourway. Now we get the second option for the next generation boot, with Umbro offering a brighter alternative to the debut look, with a white base being joined by hits of orange and blue.

The Velocita Elixir features a single layer, woven upper, which seamlessly connects elasticity, stability, and abrasion to create targeted zones for added support and flexibility; this ensures the boots work even more with the natural movement of the foot. A subtle use of contrast colours woven into the upper also helps to visualise this innovation. Woven support spars run throughout the upper adding stability, whilst raised TPU yarns provide full surface grip.

Silver yarns give the boot new thermo-regulatory properties and an anatomically contoured and low-profile Speed Insock give enhanced feel for added comfort.

On the flip side, a Pebax Powered Sprint+ outsole brings multidirectional agility, while the stud geometry distributes pressure evenly for strong traction and a comfortable change of pace and direction.

The Umbro Velocita Elixir will be available globally in "White/Deep Surf/Vermillion Orange" from 23 August.
