Pro:Direct Soccer continue their 25th anniversary celebrations, this time with an exclusive chrome colourway for the grassroots champion, the Nike Premier III, which is available in both FG and SG soleplates.
2023 sees online retail brand, Pro:Direct Soccer, celebrating their 25th anniversary, and they’ve been doing so in style, partnering with the biggest brands in the world for some very special edition releases. Next up it’s Nike, who present the Premier III in a colourway that’s synonymous with the Mercurial’s own 25-year history.
The Nike Premier III “Metallic Silver/Black/Volt” features a silver base with the bold Swoosh branding wrapping right round the heel and riding down the sides in black, while volt accents pop through the stud tips on the underside and on the “Nike Premier” branding on the heel.
It’s the latest in a spate of colourway drops for the Premier, following on from the Green Speed-inspired drop from the beginning of the month, and the crisp triple white release and the in-line ‘Ready Pack’ colourways before that.
The Premier III boasts a premium cow leather upper, featuring an altered stitch pattern through the forefoot to create specific cushioning zones at the instep and outstep. On the heel is a beautifully embossed “Nike Premier” logo, while the over-sized Swoosh rides down the lateral side, much as it does on its spiritual sibling, the Tiempo. Then there’s the tongue. Some love it, some not so much, and Nike appreciate that, placing a dotted cut line along its base, just incase you want to lop it off.
