Skechers Drop The 'Diamond Ice' Pack

Perfect for the current UK climate, Skechers drop the Diamond Ice pack, featuring whiteout versions of the SKX_01 and Razor, both of which will be worn on pitch by the pros in the coming weeks.

Flipping freezing, innit? Well, it is winter in the old northern hemisphere, so can’t say much…but, we now have a boot pack that’s perfect for the seasonal chill, and it comes courtesy of Skechers. The ‘Diamond Ice’ pack, as it’s known, sees the brand’s duo presented in fresh coats of white, with subtle blue accents. The idea behind it being that the wearer is ‘ice-cold’ under intense pressure…and we all know how diamond’s are made right? Course we do.

The look lands in stark contrast to the dark tones of the ‘Trench Pack’ that dropped back in November. Unlike most other brands’ whiteout packs, the ‘Diamond Ice pack is set to be worn on the elite pitches across Europe, so you can expect to see the likes of Harry Kane and more in them in the coming weeks.

Starting with Harry Kane’s choice, the SKX_01 is available in both a low and high collar cut. It’s been designed with the insight of professional players who desire precise control on the ball. The boot is constructed on a custom-designed last meticulously crafted to optimise fit and comfort. The upper is a seamless fusion of high-quality knit and skin materials; the knit adapts to the foot's shape, offering a personalised fit and excellent breathability, while the strategically placed skin panels add durability and protection where it's needed most.

A unique combination of micro and macro texture are positioned on the upper, strategically placed to optimise ball control and touch – the micro-textured zones provide a delicate grip for precise dribbling and passing, while the macro-textured areas offer extra grip and power for shooting and striking the ball.

Finally, there’s the Hyper-burst Pro sockliner – a staple of Skechers footwear. It’s a highly responsive ultra-lightweight, long lasting and resilient TPU cushioning which moulds to the shape of the foot, providing a custom fit that ensures maximum comfort.

Partnering the SKX_01 is the Razor, Skechers’ speed silo that’s endorsed by the aforementioned Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Anthony Elanga. Its lightweight, carbon-infused soleplate enables explosive acceleration, providing responsive performance. Sitting above the soleplate, the adaptive Hyper Burst Pro sockliner moulds to the shape of your foot for comfort.

The FitKnit upper keeps things simple for superior speed. The knitted back quarter offers dynamic support and breathability, while at the front, a premium leather-like synthetic provides exceptional feel on the ball.

At the rear, an anatomical internal heel counter locks the foot in for control during quick moves, working with a specially designed U-Throat at the midfoot to ensure a snug, secure fit.
