Almost a year on from the first, PUMA has launched the new edition of the NJR Creativity Collection, which this time is inspired by the creativity and small-sided games played on the streets of Brazil.
Around this time last year PUMA unveiled the Future ‘Creativity’, celebrating Neymar Jr’s creative influence on the game and the rising stars of the game. Now we get a second instalment of the franchise, which looks back to the streets of Santos for inspiration, the place where Neymar honed his skills. The collection features the next-gen Future 7 in custom NJR Creativity graphics, along with a range of apparel and accessories.
The colours and graphics in use on the collection are inspired by the signature style of play seen on the Santos streets, and the design has then been developed into abstract art taking the raw style of football and the geometric architecture inspired by graffiti Pixação to give the collection its final touch.
The Future 7 features a completely revamped FUZIONFIT360 system with revised PWRTAPE and PWRPRINT positioning to lock the foot in like never before while providing the ultimate in comfort.
The PWRTAPE now comes in the shape of a Y instead of the previous zig zag, while the PWRPRINT on the lateral and medial sides offers additional support during dynamic changes of direction, combining with the dual layers of PWRTAPE across the midfoot to provide the pinnacle of lockdown essential for the art of playmaking. That lockdown is combined with the extra stretchy knit of the upper, which provides an adaptive, snug fit with enhanced freedom of movement. Comfort well and truly covered. And so for control…
The Future 7 boasts 3D grip textures at critical ball contact zones, ensuring the ultimate in control and precision. The textured dots on the instep of the boot have different levels of thickness to provide more stability or flexibility in key areas.
To celebrate the launch, the new FUTURE 7 NJR Creativity Edition will be worn by a team of up-and-coming future stars who have been picked by Neymar Jr. The group of players includes Johan Bakayoko, Jess Park, Marc Guiu, Jade Le Guilly, Gabriel Veron and Fiamma Benitez.
