With a bright flourish that’s sure to catch the eye, Nike drop their latest limited edition boot collection, which is inspired by the sights, vibes and creativity of Southern California. The collection sees the Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly IX and Phantom GX II scattered with tributes to Southern California across the designs of each. They are then joined by the Street Gato, which is slightly more toned down when it comes to aesthetics.
Presented in a vibrant “Sail White/Blue” colourway that’s representative of the region its named after, the boots in the pack feature nods to the area through not only the colours and shapes that represent places and landmarks where local players have carved out a career from their hometowns to the global stage, but also through direct callouts to the likes of Pasadena, Studio City, Isla Vista and more.
