Leaning into the brand’s strong links with the world of Formula 1 and paying tribute to a Brazilian icon and one of the fastest drivers of all-time, PUMA have launched the limited edition Ultra 5 Ultimate x Senna.
As a brand, PUMA loves speed. Over the years, through their eternal pursuit to be Forever Faster, they have developed a natural link to the world of motorsports, including Formula 1. This was seen in the recent Ultra 5 Carbon edition, which featured as part of the aptly named ‘Formula’ pack. Now, following on from that and continuing to build on those links, PUMA reveal the limited edition Ultra 5 Ultimate x Senna boot, which pays tribute to legendary Brazilian driver, Ayrton Senna.
The Brazilian driver was a three time Formula One World Champion before his tragic death in 1994, and this boot pays tribute in small part to him.
Arriving in an official colourway of “Puma White/Puma Gold/Puma Red”, the Ultra 5 Ultimate x Senna sees a white base with bright pops of colour, graphics and details that celebrates the Formula 1 icon’s legacy on and beyond the racetrack. That’s seen through Senna's racing helmet, found on the side of the boot and laced into the Formstripe branding. That’s joined by his signature on the lateral side, along with the words 'Find Your Truth' on the tongue area. Brazil is further honoured with a special edition Brazilian box that each pair comes in.
The boot release coincides with the launch of a special documentary focussing on Senna, which has landed on Netflix.
