Presented in their national team colours in honour of their Euro 24 win, PUMA have presented special edition Future 7 boots to Dani Carvajal and Marc Cucurella.
In celebration of their Euro 24 win, PUMA have created two special edition versions of their Future 7 boot for Spain’s marauding full backs, Dani Caravajal and Marc Cucurella. The boots were hand delivered to the pair, coming at the same time as PUMA honoured joint top goalscorer, Cody Gakpo with his own signature pair of Ultra 5. The Spaniards wore their boots in the Nations League match against Serbia, which ended 0-0.
As with Gakpo’s boot, the design for Carvajal’s and Cucurella’s boots comes courtesy of French artist and long time PUMA collaborator, Silni. It comes as a continuation of the brand’s tagline for the Spanish pair, “CUCU ON THE LEFT, CARVA ON THE RIGHT”, referring to them playing a major role as left and right back for Spain, making the two lanes a nightmare for wingers at the Euros. This is worked into the boots’ design with Cucurella having his nickname “CUCU” feature on his left boot, while “CARVA” is written on Carvajal’s right boot. The boot design finishes off with details like the 7 W’s across the toe area, representing the seven wins that brought them the Euro win, as well as a “Campeones de Europa” on the heel, all held in the traditional red and yellow colours of Spain.
