Nike have officially unveiled the third edition of the ‘United’ pack, with an all-new lavender colourway for each silo. This latest edition spotlights six female ‘heroes’ who are taking the women’s game by storm, with emphasis on crafting a boot made for the ‘rising baller’.
The women’s game has spent too many years in the shadows of the men’s. Even with the rapid growth of it in the last few years, female footballers are still trying to self-advocate and empower their communities – inspiring young girls with dreams of playing football.
Nike ‘United’ is a women’s led season product story, dedicated to celebrating and further spotlighting women’s football – this edition choosing six female ballers to be the ‘heroes’ of the pack. Lauren James, Salma Paralluelo, Sophia Smith, Deyna Castellanos, Naomi Girma and Patricia Guijarro are the rising ballers chosen to be spotlighted, all of which will have their names printed on the specific silo that they choose to wear – Mercurial, Phantom or Tiempo. With the success of the previous 'United' packs, this latest drop was long overdue.

The latest ‘United’ pack will be the first of the product story, where a new ‘chapter’ will be released twice a year. This pack drops in “Purple Agate/Barely Volt” colourway in all three silos. Volt green accents complement a lavender body – chosen to reflect the undeniable energy of the women’s game. Small details such as the words ‘Nike United’ also feature in the vibrant colour on the lateral side of the boot. On each silo Nike have designed an amplified swoosh, reflecting women’s ability to uplift and amplify each other.
Although this drop comes with a women’s led story, it’s important to note that it is not a women’s boot – Nike aim for a unisex fit on all of their boots and this pack is the same. All three silos drop with the same technology seen on previous releases. The Mercurial is available in both Vapor and Superfly versions, with the sticky Gripknit technology used on the upper and Air Zoom soleplate.
The Phantom silo is available in both Luna and GX II versions, again with the Gripknit upper that makes the boot perfect for midfielders who want that extra tight control. The Tiempo returns with the esteemed Fly Touch Plus upper. The ‘United’ pack arrives alongside a series of training wear also available to purchase.
Nike WSL athletes will be lacing up the latest ‘United’ pack this weekend, as well as a handful of male ‘allies’. With the women’s Euros coming up in July, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the next chapter of this story dropped in time for the tournament.
