Adidas return with another beauty, dropping a new colourway for the Copa Pure III. The boot follows the dress code of the iconic AdiPure 11pro in that esteemed blue and white, whilst maintaining the fit and technology of the latest generation of Copa.
Over the years, we have seen some iconic Copa boots dropped by Adidas, with it becoming a favourite amongst those classy players such as Lampard, Beckenbaur and Dybala. The latest version of the silo arrives as the Copa Pure III, featuring cutting-edge technology built to maximise comfort and performance.
Adidas have decided to merge two classic boots into one, dressing the build of a Copa Pure III with the aesthetics of the iconic AdiPure 11pro blue and white. We all know Adi are no strangers to diving into the archives, with the likes of the Predator series making a comeback, and once again the Three Stripes fuse another renowned aesthetic with their latest boot technology – perfectly blending the past, present and future.
The AdiPure 11Pro had a faiely standard existance until one of the greatest midfielders to ever grace the game laced up that silo again and again. Toni Kroos is a Real Madrid and Germany icon, known for his classy style of play and vision, who recently retired after the Euro’s last summer. His impact on the game was unmatched, as was his impact on the popularity of 11Pro’s. Winning five champions league’s wearing the same silo is bound to make it a favourite. Back in 2023, adidas briefly gave the AdiPure 11Pro a return, bringing back the clssic blue and white colourway for a limited edition Toni Kroos boot – paying tribute to his impact on the boot.
Now, two years later, Adi have again revived the vlue and white to dress up their latest version of Copa. The boot is fashioned in a ‘pure white’ base, complemented by a blue line splitting the boot down the middle. The renowned three stripes also are dressed in the same black fit seen on the 11pro’s and a ‘11pure’ sign off is stamped onto the lateral heel. Onto the soleplate, we see a chrome-blue finish onto a classic Copa Pure III soleplate – the same stud pattern and technology as seen on recent releases.
We know he has retired, but what we'd do to see Toni Kroos playing through balls in these beauties. Atleast we will get to see some Declan Rice class in these classics, with him already lacing them up in training this week.
