adidas Drop New 'La Vida Tropical' Signature F50 Messi

Another day, another F50 Messi. Adidas have unveiled the Argentine’s next signature boot, taking inspiration from his time in the Miami sun. This time, the F50 is dressed in signature Miami pink and turquoise and will be worn exclusively by Lionel and ten of the world’s best young ballers.

Adidas are entering the Spring sunshine with an all-new F50 Messi that is sure to radiate on the pitch. ‘La Vida Tropical’ offers a fresh twist on the previous ‘La Vida Rapida’, shining a spotlight on Lionel Messi’s time in Miami – printing the club’s signature colour onto the innovative speed boot. The launch will be worn exclusively by the man himself, as well as ten young ballers hand-picked by Messi to spotlight the boot. Besides the F50 star boy Lamine Yamal, others wearing La Vida Tropical include: Cavan Sullivan, Claudio Echeverri, Jaeydn Shaw, Antonio Nusa, Joel Ndala, Vicky Lopez, Kenan Yildiz, Assan Ouedraogo and Eliesse Ben Seghir.

With updated visual designs, the F50 sees a “Flash Aqua/Lucid Pink/Lucid Cyan” colourway fused with delicate Messi touches. A turquoise blue takes over the majority of the look, painting the synthetic Hybridtouch Upper, whilst vivid pink accents adorn the three stripes and detailing. Pink also takles over the innovative Burrito Tongue closer system, which is an adaptive tongue design that is a preferred fit for Leo for maximum comfort. Nods to the World cup winner feature on the heel, where the renowned ‘M’ logo is stamped, and on the soleplate where Messi is written across the forefoot. Sticking to the Miami theme, the soleplate features a pink to blue gradient design, adding extra Messi flair to the boot.

La Vida Tropical will be worn on pitch for the first time by Lionel Messi on 19 April, when Inter Miami take on Columbus Crew in the MLS. Watch out for the other ten star’s lacing them up in the upcoming weeks.
