Set to release on 7 April, Nike have unveiled the brand-new pack for Spring called ‘Prism’. Modelling bold new colourways, the Mercurial Vapor and Superfly, Phantom GXII, and Tiempo all return with new visuals for a daring look on the pitch.
Bringing an ocean essence to the Spring, Nike have unveiled the next full pack of the year. The 'Prism' pack sees another vibrant colourway for all three silos: Mercurial, Phantom, and Tiempo, with pastels seeming to be the theme for the last couple of packs. Each silo models its own distinct shades, all whislt staying loyal to the headline colours of the pack. The softened colours of the boots will allow players to have a lighter and faster feel on the pitch, with all boots featuring cutting-edge technology that aid this.
Arriving in a “Ocean Cube/Pink Blast” colourway, the Nike Air Zoom Mercurial sees a pastel blue shade covering the entirety of the Gripknit upper, whilst vivid pops of pink feature across detailing and branding. The “Ocean Cube” choice of colour takes inspiration from shades the brand have previously used on popular trainers in the past. The ‘swoosh’ and ‘Air’ branding models bright pink, elevating the colourful aesthetic of the boot. This boot would look so clean with that Atlético Madrid Away shirt…
Onto the Phantom GXII, a silo built for precision and touch, and Nike don’t miss the target with these. Moving away from the blue shades seen on the Mercurial, the Phantom fashions a “Crimson Tint/Black/Pink Blast” colourway, again spotlighting the pastel colours as the headline act. A ‘peachy’ look engulfs the knit upper, whilst fading into a bright pink that wraps around the heel. The Nike Swoosh stands bold in black, a clear and strong presence. The pink continues along the soleplate, as well as styling the studs on the modern Cyclone 360 technology.
A “Copa/White” takes the spotlight on the Tiempo, arriving with a heavy turquoise shade. A boot that always flourishes in simplicity, the Tiempo keeps it calm with a clear-cut main colour paired with white branding and slight hints of pink. It is going to be a pastel-theme Spring for ballers.
The new Nike Prism pack will only be worn by athletes that still remain in the Champions League knockout rounds, including Marcus Rashford, Gavi, Jamal Musiala and Leah Williamson.
