PUMA Drop The Eclipse Pack For 2025

As we edge into the new season and fresh ground gets broken in the build-up to competitive football, PUMA step forward with their latest visual drop – the Eclipse Pack 2025. A low-key follow-up to the loud and proud Untamed Pack, this new release strips things back in classic Eclipse fashion, but with a few slick surprises up its sleeve.

Dropping as part of PUMA’s biannual blackout ritual, the Eclipse Pack has always held a certain cult appeal. Less flash, more stealth – it's a move for players who prefer to let their game do the talking. But 2025’s iteration flips the script slightly, breaking from pure blackout tradition. This time, it's not quite black – more of a rich midnight green that shifts subtly in the light. Officially dubbed “Puma Black/Fizzy Light/Green Terrain”, it’s a palette that sneaks up on you, with secondary pops of yellow peeking through the branding to give just the right amount of edge.

The pack features the PUMA Future 8 and PUMA Ultra 6 – the brand’s latest weapons of choice. Each model carries the Eclipse aesthetic with individual flair. The Future 8 features a revised ‘FTR’ placement compared to its Untamed sibling, subtly hinting at the tweaks in tech and tailoring that make each pack its own beast. Meanwhile, the Ultra 6 lands with a fresh update in the branding department – a new identity across the upper that will carry throughout the Ultra line this season.

As ever, the Eclipse Pack isn’t made for the spotlight – it’s crafted for those who live just outside of it. With its dark tones and sharp details, it’s the calm before the storm, the player who shows up and quietly runs the game.

You won’t see this one worn by the pros on the pitch – that’s not its purpose. This is the pack for the purists. For the grassroots game.
