Skechers Go Dark With All-New Black Pack

Following hot on the heels of the high-profile ‘Control Pack’, Skechers shift the spotlight with a more understated alternative – the new ‘Black Pack’. Trading flash for finesse, the drop sees the SKX 2 and Razor silos dressed in a uniform “Black/Black/Orange” colourway that delivers a darker vibe without going full blackout.

Taking a step away from the spotlight and into the shadows, Skechers roll out the ‘Black Pack’ – a stealthy sibling to the recently released ‘Control Pack’ that's set to light up the pro game. While the Control Pack is all about statement play and top-tier presence, the Black Pack opts for a more low-key approach… though not without bite.

This drop sees both the SKX 2 and Razor wrapped in a sleek “Black/Black/Orange” suit, trading flash for finesse. Not quite a full blackout, the boots are laced with sharp orange accents around the branding and trim, injecting just the right amount of attitude into the otherwise murdered-out aesthetic.

Talking tech, the SKX_2 features HYPER BURST PRO cushioning, a next-gen foam known for its elite energy return and featherlight feel. Skechers have built their name on comfort – they spend more money on insoles than any other brand in the game, and it shows. Slide your foot into the SKX_2 and you’re immediately met with a performance-driven hug: snug but not restrictive, responsive but not rigid. On top, the Performance FitKnit upper has been refined for a more tailored, adaptive fit. Strategic lacing and internal silicon elements work together to lock the foot down, giving players that essential stability without sacrificing flexibility. Whether you’re shifting into space or snapping a pass between the lines, the Precision Strike Control (PSC) detailing on the forefoot ensures confident contact and cleaner strikes.

Want to dance through defenders? The SKX_2 has you covered. Mazy dribbles feel more intuitive thanks to precision-mapped texturing, and when it’s time to pull the trigger, your execution feels clinical. Explosiveness is part of the design language here – from the nylon internal chassis to the multi-directional traction outsole, every inch of the SKX_2 is tuned for fast, decisive movement.

Where most boots start to fade late on, the SKX_2 stays strong. That’s the Hyper Burst Pro difference. Impact is absorbed, energy is returned, and the clever use of silicone grip elements in the collar and sockliner means your foot stays locked in, even in the dying moments of a match. Add in enhanced heel padding and you’ve got a boot that doesn’t just perform — it protects.

Completing the Control Pack is the Razor 1.5, a sharp tool for the speed merchants out there. Also wrapped in the same clean White/Teal/Coral skin, the Razor 1.5 brings that carbon-infused plate tech to the fore. Lightweight, responsive and explosively reactive underfoot, it’s got pace written all over it. But don’t get it twisted – comfort is still front and centre, with the same HYPER BURST PRO setup sitting underfoot.
