As the pressure builds heading into the business end of the season, Nike unveil the new Heat Up Pack, delivering fresh aesthetics across three of their flagship silos: the Nike Mercurial, Nike Phantom 6 and the Nike Tiempo Maestro.
With attention across the football landscape currently fixed on the steady stream of national team kits dropping ahead of the summer showpiece, Nike shift the spotlight back to boots with the ‘Heat Up’ pack, introducing a visual direction that blends stealth with flash. Each boot arrives with a predominantly black base, elevated by colour-shifting details that catch the light in motion. It’s a look designed to pop under stadium lights.
The pack acts as a spiritual sequel to the Nike Chromatic Pack released back in March 2025. That drop leaned heavily into the “Colour In Motion” concept, pairing clean white bases with futuristic chrome accents. Here, the concept flips on its head. Where the Chromatic Pack glowed from a light foundation, the Heat Up Pack embraces darkness – blacked-out uppers becoming the canvas for subtle flashes of colour.
Leading the charge is the Nike Air Zoom Mercurial Vapor XVI and its collar-equipped sibling, the Nike Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly X, both arriving in the official “Black/Hyper Crimson” colourway. A stealthy black base sets the tone, while vivid Hyper Crimson accents ignite the design. The oversized Swoosh and heel “AIR ZOOM” branding blaze in bright orange, while the Swoosh itself carries a delicate colour-shift effect, delivering a subtle iridescent shimmer as it moves.
Next up, the Nike Phantom 6 lands in “Med Ash/Gold Amber/Black”, mirroring the pack’s overall design philosophy. Again, a dark base dominates, while colour-shifting finishes highlight the Swoosh branding. The effect is understated at first glance, but under light and motion the detailing comes alive, adding a dynamic visual layer to the Phantom’s precision-focused silhouette.
Rounding things off is the Nike Tiempo Maestro, presented in “Black/Laser Orange/Hyper Crimson.” Here the design plays into the natural movement of the Tiempo’s plush upper. Wavy lines ripple across the leather-like surface, while bold blocks of Laser Orange wrap the midfoot, creating contrast against the otherwise stealthy base. It’s a modern interpretation for Nike’s heritage-inspired control silo.
With the season entering its decisive stretch and the global stage looming just over the horizon, the Nike Heat Up Pack delivers exactly what its name promises: dark foundations ignited by flashes of colour, engineered to stand out when the heat is on.
