It's that time of the year again. The new Hi-Vis Ordem 3 ball is scheduled to float down from the Nike tree this Fall to land as the official match-ball of the Premier League, Serie A and La Liga throughout the winter months.
If the standard edition wasn't bright enough Nike have wrapped the Ordem 3 in a combo of "Yellow/Total Orange/Violet". Sticking with the gradient change the colourway is designed to help players see the ball faster during fading daylight and under floodlights, unlike the good 'ol days when the orange ball would only come out in two foot of snow.
The season kicked off with each league using a bespoke design but the new Hi-Vis edition will be passed around to the England, Italy and Spain starting from late October. Tech wise, same ball, different colour. The Ordem 3 provides the most accurate flight and consistent touch built from 15 years of Nike match ball technology. The Aerowtrac grooves remain to keep the ball steady as it moves through the air and a geometric 12-panel design and synthetic leather casing provide the same consistent feel where ever the ball is struck. New balls please.
