Mitre Lands In The National League With Bespoke Ultimax Ball For 2025/26 Season

A fresh chapter for one of football’s most storied competitions is about to begin. From the 2025/26 season, every kick, goal, and glory moment across the National League, National League North, and National League South will be scripted by the unmistakable flight of the Mitre Ultimax Match Ball, following the announcement of a bold new three-year partnership between Mitre and The Enterprise National League.

For a brand steeped in heritage, Mitre continues its forward stride, blending innovation with nostalgia in what is being hailed as a landmark moment for the grassroots and semi-pro game. Already embedded in the DNA of English football through its role in competitions like the Emirates FA Cup, the Isuzu FA Vase, and the Isuzu FA Trophy, this latest partnership deepens Mitre’s commitment to the beautiful game at all levels.

To celebrate the occasion, Mitre has unveiled a bespoke Ultimax design, a ball crafted not just for performance, but with purpose. Draped in a colour palette of deep blue, electric red, and silver, it’s an instant head-turner, proudly bearing the refreshed branding of The Enterprise National League. At its core sits the logo of new title sponsor, Enterprise, seamlessly integrated into the design — a symbol of the league’s ambitions moving forward.

But this isn’t just a new paint job. One of the standout details is the inclusion of 72 intricate dots, wrapped around the ball in a subtle tribute to the league’s 72 clubs. It’s a detail that captures the unity, diversity, and reach of the National League pyramid — a gesture that brings every club, player, and supporter into the story.

Simon Rowe, Senior VP of Mitre & Global Sports Marketing at Pentland Brands, summed it up best: “Partnering with The Enterprise National League marks an important milestone for our brand… Bringing Mitre and The National League together aligns brilliantly with our mission to support and champion football at all levels of the game.

Echoing that sentiment, Jon Warburton, Head of Commercial at the National League, added: “Mitre are one of the leading brands in the market. Their brand is iconic and strikes a chord with football fans across the country… Welcoming a partner of Mitre’s calibre is a huge next step in that journey.

The Mitre National League Ultimax Pro Match Ball will be available from mitre.com from early September.
