Mitre is bringing the gold standard to the cup game. Ahead of the Emirates FA Cup Third Round and Adobe Women’s FA Cup Fourth Round, the brand has unveiled its special edition Winners’ Balls – a shimmering nod to champions and a statement of intent for the season.
As the Official Ball Supplier to both competitions, Mitre’s golden design is reserved for royalty. This year, that means Crystal Palace and Chelsea, holders of the men’s and women’s titles respectively. Each club will receive a bespoke Winners’ Ball, exclusively used throughout their defence of the crown.
The first glimpse comes this Saturday when Palace roll out the Emirates FA Cup Winners’ Ball against Macclesfield Town. A week later, Chelsea will debut theirs in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup Fourth Round at home to Palace, continuing with it all the way to Wembley should they go the distance.
New for 2025/26, the Winners’ Ball is built on Mitre’s all-new Ultimax Pro – a modern evolution of an icon. Its six-panel construction pays homage to the legendary Ultimax of the ’90s, blending heritage with cutting-edge performance tech. Wrapped in gold, it’s more than a ball – it’s a badge of honour.
