Puma PowerCat Tokyo Goalkeeper Gloves

Puma PowerCat Tokyo Goalkeeper Gloves

Puma's audacious Tokyo football boots have been one of the success stories of 2011, with a surprising number of players keen to wear the eccentric designs. To further compliment the range, Puma have released these Puma PowerCat Tokyo goalkeeper gloves, check out our exclusive shots of the new release from Puma...

Inspired by the dazzling lights, vibrancy and highly visual culture of the neon jungles of Japan, the Puma PowerCat Toyko goalkeeper gloves feature vivid colours and graphics that encapsulate the energy of one of the world's most dynamic cities.

Puma seem keen to push the boundaries of design and flair, and the great thing is, so do their players. When the Tokyo's were first revealed we doubted the player uptake, but were pleased to be proved wrong when Bacary Sagna, Giorgio Chiellini and Tomas Rosicky all debuted the boots, and better still Gianluigi Buffon wore both the boots and gloves.

Alongside the innovative design, is a genuine top level performance glove featuring the lightweight flexible Puma Finger Protection System, which protects the fingers from hyper-extension by locking at 180°.

The revolutionary, patented thumb spine protects the thumb through its full range of movement and features a zipper compartment for easy adjustments. All spines can be removed, allowing the goalkeeper to customize the level of protection to specific needs.

The completely new developed Grip Gill Foam on the backhand enhances grip when punching the ball. The 4mm Absorb Latex provides unrivalled grip in all conditions and the silicon finger-tip prints on the inside of glove maximize control and tactility. The anatomically positioned flex zones in the palm mirror the natural flex zones of the hand for enhanced flexibility.

The new Puma PowerCat Tokyo goalkeeper gloves are available to order now for around £65 GBP / $90 USD / ¥8500 JPY. They're set to continue the debate over Puma's outrageous football products, and as it's impossible not to have an opinion, we'd love to hear yours...
