In the Pink! HO Ghotta Lights Up La Liga

Goalkeepers aren't generally known for commanding the spotlight on a football pitch. But Getafe's Jordi Codina Rodriguez is becoming hard to ignore! The Spanish shot-stopper cuts a bold figure on the pitch thanks to his new bright pink HO Ghotta Roll Finger Goalkeeper gloves and Jersey...

Recently goalkeeper glove designs have started to capture the imagination. Gloves such as the Puma PowerCat Tokyo Super and Reusch Xosa Pro G1 have put keepers firmly in the spotlight with eye-catching designs and colours. Now HO have released the latest pair of distinctive gloves that are hard to miss!

When Rodriguez last wore his new HO gloves against Barcelona earlier this month, he was almost in danger of eclipsing Lionel Messi, David Villa and Pedro. It's not just footballer's who like the bright colours. From the looks of things, goalkeepers are just as keen to get noticed! We just wish he would reconsider his boot choice. A pair of Cherry Vapor's or Tokyo PowerCat's would surely complete the look!

Ever since Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner first wore the pink Nike Mercurial Vapor Rosa boots in 2008, the football world has gone mad for the colour! Puma quickly followed up on the Rosa Vapor with the release of their pink v1.08 boots. More recently, Nike released a similar colour-way for their Cherry Superfly II soccer shoes.

The craze also spread to replica with teams such as Everton and Copenhagen famously wearing pink jerseys! Jordi Codina Rodriguez is fully embracing the colour with a stand-out combination of his pink Joma goalkeeper jersey and HO gloves.

The new HO Ghotta Roll Finger gloves aren't worth talking about just for their unique colour-way. They also pack a host of technological advancements that are designed to offer the pinnacle in goalkeeping performance. HO soccer gloves feature a one piece glove cut that improves the art of catching the ball.

This advancement is based on HYBRID technology, which naturally takes the best control characteristics from ROLL, NEG and FLAT glove palms and assembles them into a new cut made completely from a single one piece mould.

The benefits generated are due to the combination of the index and small rolled fingers, flat or negative cut on middle and ring fingers and the completely wrapped latex thumb, which provides the best shape for optimal control of the ball. The conclusion is a new generation glove offering total safety in terms of ball control as well as improved comfort and superior fit, to offer the keeper greater confidence during the match.
