Sells Wrap Supersoft4 Zebra Goalkeeper Gloves

Sells Wrap Supersoft4 Zebra Goalkeeper Gloves

When these new Sells goalkeeper gloves arrived at SoccerBible HQ labeled as an April 1st release, we thought we were on the wrong end of an April fools joke! As it turns out, our friends at Sells weren't being entirely truthful when they explained the technical background behind their new unique gloves...

We had our suspicions when they told us; "The aim of the range is to make the goalkeepers look more fierce and behave like animals on the pitch. By dressing like animals you become animals; running faster, jumping higher and shouting louder."

After talking to our friends at Sells, we can now confirm that the new Zebra patterned gloves are unique in their design, but in no way aim to make goalkeepers behave like animals on the pitch! We were fooled! Even so, we've never seen a goalkeeper glove quite like this and it's really started to grow on the SoccerBible team!

Each new goalkeeper glove we see here at SoccerBible seems to be more audacious than the last! With glove design seemingly reaching new heights each year, Sells are the first to utilize an animal pattern design! Maybe inspiration was taken from the Nike Safari Superfly!

Sells currently have some high profile goalkeepers on their book including Jerzy Dudek, Ben Foster, Robert Green and Tottenham's Heurelho Gomes. We'll be keeping a close eye on these keepers to see if any of them are tempted by the unique Zebra print design!

Officially named the 'Sells Wrap Supersoft4 Zebra', these eye-catching gloves also feature technological advances designed to improve goalkeeping performance. The gloves feature a 4mm supersoft natural latex palm to provide enhanced grip adhesion in all weather conditions. The roll finger palm construction is also designed to allow excellent latex to ball contact. Flex grooves in the backhand allow for a more comfortable and tapered fit.

Credit deservedly goes to Sells for attempting such a unique glove design! Let us know what you think of the new Sells Wrap Supersoft4 Zebra gloves. We're sure you all have an opinion!
