Patterns of Play Collaborate With Equipo FC to Produce 'Bags for Life' Project

The creative game has taken on many forms. In collaborating with Equipo FC, Patterns of Play have produced a series of bags that have been upcycled from archived shirts. In doing so, they two brands have been able to bring fashion and textile design into the mix and ultimately change the purpose of one wearable item into another. Introducing the 'Bags for Life' project.

To kick off this collaboration, a range of old football shirts have been carefully chosen and remoulded into something completely new. Seen as something that fans can wear with pride, not only to the stadium but everywhere they go, the shirts are archive oldies, restored into new time classics. Each bag represents a different team and has been stitched together by hand into a one-off piece of work.

A truly bespoke way to wear your support and rep your team, so far the launch has included upcycled shirts from teams in the English Football League. Birmingham City, Hull City, West Brom, Stoke City, Sunderland, Norwich City and Nottingham Forest are all included in the first drop and each back is a one of one piece.
