New campaign sees Chelsea players 'immortalised' as sculptures

adidas and Chelsea have teamed up to launch a unique social campaign for the 2014/15 Chelsea home kit that sees some of Mourinho's men 'immortalised' as sculptures in their favourite Chelsea moment.

The design concept is a collaborative work between the in-house creative team at adidas, London design agency 'The Corner' and 'Hill & Knowlton', adidas' UK PR agency. adidas brand director, Nick Craggs commented on the new launch: "Working with the players and identifying their moments over recent years in adidas shirts, we have managed to create a compelling campaign that will remain with the club forever."

The video, narrated by manager, Jose Mourinho, references iconic goals, saves and celebrations from recent Chelsea history. It features Petr Cech’s penalty save from Bayern Munich’s Bastian Schweinsteiger, Fernando Torres’s opening goal against Benfica in last season’s Europa League final, Gary Cahill’s volleyed strike against Spurs, Oscar’s wonder goal against Juventus and most recently Eden Hazard’s hat-trick against Newcastle.
