Nike are counting down the days until the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro with a new short film that takes things back to the very first steps on the road to greatness. "Unlimited Future" was created by Wieden+Kennedy, directed by Damien Chazelle and stars American actor Bobby Cannavale.
Athletes Neymar Jr, Serena Williams, LeBron James, Mo Farah and Zhou Qi are represented by babies in a playful video. Made up of staunch determination, inevitable struggles and hard work to earn triumphs, Nike applauds the perseverance of the world’s greatest athletes and underscores a summer of sport with its “Unlimited Campaign," which encourages everyone to embrace an “unlimited” mindset.
Does it matter that there's seven years between LeBron and Neymar? No. We're not here to ruin the fun. No matter how incredible any top athlete is, just remember at some point they were the same helpless, dribbling, pooping, puking baby that you once were. Day one is a level playing field, kids.
