PUMA make their first move of the 2018 World Cup as Germany midfielder Marco Reus switches into his new wheels for Russia to provide a first look at the next-generation PUMA Future 19 football boots.

Nike have shuffled their full 2018 World Cup deck already, whilst adidas have placed down a couple of their own cards. PUMA, however, have been quietly going about their own business with an assured confidence in their strongest of hands. The second-generation of the Future will spearhead the brand into Russia next month, and the paint job is a hard hitting combo of colour.

The PUMA Future 18.1 only launched at the turn of the year but the brand have been quick to work on an upgrade ready for the big dance this summer. The second-gen shows signs of subtle upgrades on what was already one of the brand's strongest silos in recent years thanks to the NetFit technology that allowed players to work a customised fit. Unsurprisingly, that tech remains. Even if Reus prefers to extract the laces completely.

Set to launch as one half of PUMA's 2018 World Cup pack, the Future 19 will be joined by a complementing ONE silo and is expected to launch sometime towards the end of next week. Expect to see both upcoming pairs on the feet of all PUMA athletes in the coming days and throughout the World Cup.
