Under Armour bolster their squad of contracted Premier League players with the signing of England and Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster.

The big Saints stopper has been wearing the Under Armour ClutchFit Force 3.0 football boots recently and has now made his relationship with the American brand official having signed on the dotted line. Along with the next-gen Clutchfit, Forster will be the first to wear the new Desafio gloves once launched and will remain in them for the 2016/17 season and beyond, including the League Cup Final against Manchester United at Wembley this month.

Some description

The partnership represents a further step into football for Under Armour who also became the technical partner of Southampton this season. Linked with Real Madrid one minute, signing Fraser Forster the next, Under Armour certainly have the ammo to be busy and the capture of Forster is a solid start to gaining more grasp of the European market. Forster joins Memphis Depay, Granit Xhaka, Jonathan Tah and Cameron Carter-Vickers in Under Armour’s squad of European football athletes. Outside of football, Under Armour are even stronger, boasting Anthony Joshua, Andy Murray, Tom Brady, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Stephen Curry, Jordan Spieth and Michael Phelps amongst their ranks.
