Under Armour are once again supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month with their 'Power In Pink' initiative. The brand have launched a limited edition run of Spotlight and Clutchfit boots in a unique pink design which will be worn by a strong number of their athletes.

Approximately 200 pairs of both the Clutchfit (above) and Spotlight (below) will hit the shelves, and all proceeds will go towards Breast Cancer Awareness charity – Breast Cancer Haven. The launch of this year’s limited edition collection builds on Under Armour’s dedication to the cause over the years. The success of the Power in Pink initiative has enabled Under Armour to donate $10 million to create the Under Armour Breast Health Innovation Centre in their founding area of Baltimore, Maryland in the US. Top stuff indeed.

Over 100 Under Armour athletes across football and rugby will be wearing the pink boots this month. Some of the most recognisable names football that could switch into the design are Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka, Lyon's Memphis Depay, Southampton's Fraser Forster and Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The proceeds of the Power in Pink boot sales across Europe will result in a donation of €50,000 from Under Armour to the Breast Cancer Haven charity. Under Armour have further underlined the importance of the campaign by blurring the faces of their athletes with the pink boots in the foreground to represent that the cause is the hero not the athletes in October.
