First detailed look at the landmark Nike Mercurial Vapor X on the feet of Russian international Vasili Berezutski.

It's the one boot missing from Nike's World Cup line-up. The Mercurial Vapor X is yet to be unveiled, with Nike keeping attention firmly fixed on their two statement boots: the Magista Obra and Mercurial Superfly IV. Vapor fans have had an agonising wait for the official launch of the landmark tenth generation but with international preparations now in full swing, we knew it wouldn't be long before we spotted a pair.

Step forward Russian international Vasili Berezutski who we caught giving the Nike Vapor X its first run-out at Russia'a training camp in Moscow. The boots, that will sit alongside the Superfly IV as Nike's two Mercurial options, have been given a significant redesign from the current Vapor IX. Pictures reveal a synthetic, tongue-less upper and a low-cut, modified heel design. There's no confirmation on when Nike will launch the Mercurial Vapor X, but with the opening of their new 'Phenomenal House' in London scheduled for Monday 26th May, there's a good chance Nike will complete their World Cup collection next week.
