The Mercurial Vapor X receives its share of the CR treatment as Nike offer Ronaldo's latest signature colourway on their low cut silhouette.
Not neglecting players who prefer the low-cut Vapor Nike have shared out the CR goodness to brush up their tenth generation boot with a matching signature Cristiano Ronaldo hook-up. Since the launch of the Superfly the Mercurial Vapor X has played somewhat of a supporting role, but that role has only been restricted to marketing as Nike heavily backed their new technology in a series of epic campaigns. On pitch the Vapor X is very much considered as a top-end alternative to the Superfly and that's confirmed by the player support from the likes of Hazard, Ribery and Zlatan.
Under the hood the Mercurial Vapor remains unchanged with a tongue-less upper that wraps around the foot for locked-down fit, and a micro-textured synthetic upper. As with the Superfly the Mercurial Vapor X CR uses a shimmering effect on the upper to reflect light and to represent Ronaldo's ability to light up a football pitch. A "hyper turquoise" insole bares marks the boot as the seventh CR of the series and underneath matching "hyper turquoise" studs give the boot an edgy finishing touch.
